Paul Farmer wanted to share a special message with everyone helping to fight HIV/AIDS.  We recently had the opportunity to interview Paul as part of our documentary HOPE.  HOPE is the story of a youth movement led by FACE AIDS, which is raising awareness and money to help treat and end HIV/AIDS in Africa in conjunction with Partner’s In Health.

The students of New Rochelle High School in New York get a special message from Paul Farmer in appreciation of their efforts against HIV/AIDS and injustice. FACE AIDS New Rochelle is one of a growing number of high school chapters to join the growing youth movement.

Check out our latest creation for the super sweet mentoring program Stoked - Stoked.org.  Stoked, which stands for: Successful Teens with Opportunity, Knowledge, Experience, and Determination, is a non profit action sports organization for at risk youth.  We teamed up to create this promo to get people energized for the upcoming Stoked Awards (stokedawards.com). The video is also available on YouTube and at StokedAwards.com.

We are very proud to have produced Haitian Hope, a short film bringing to light the issues in Haiti brought on by four storms that devastated the small country. The film was produced in conjunction with Partners In Health, an organization with the simple goal to do whatever it takes. Partners in Health is a worldwide organization dedicated to bringing health care and education to those who need it. For us, creating this film was both moving and heart breaking. The goal was to bring awareness.

BZ Worldwide and start-up GETTAlife have entered into an agreement to launch an urban inspired fashion line.  BZ has been placed in charge of the rollout of GETTAlife on November 1st, including all design elements for the company, marketing and being the exclusive clothing designer.  This is the first project under the BZ Worldwide division of the company that is set to officially launch later this year.  BZ Worldwide will have a much farther reach into the design and marketing world.  Check back for the official launch of GETTAlife and BZ Worldwide.

Berry Blanton was featured in an article in The Ithaca Journal this week. The article chronicles Berry and his father’s work on the conservation awareness film they collaborated on about the Galapagos Islands for IGTOA

Compelled by the unimaginable destruction brought on by four tropical storms in less than a month, we were compelled to reached out to Partners In Health (PIH) to shoot a short film and help raise awareness.  We spent four days in Haiti documenting the damage and meeting the people struggling to recover from this epic tragedy. BZ Films met with Partners In Health personel who are working around the clock to help the people of Haiti.

It was truly an incredible, moving and heart breaking experience. Check back soon for the film and donate to Partners In Health.

We teamed up with Elle magazine and fashion editor Joyann King to create the story behind Tampax’s “Ultimate Day of Style.” The shoot was on location at New York City hot spots Poppy and Elizabeth Lounge. Portions of the music were provided by the Action Painters.
